March 2nd / 3rd, in Sendai, the city that Harimoto grew up in, the Japan top 12 match was held, also serving as final selection for the National team of the World Table Tennis Championship to be held this coming April in Budapest Hungary.

Following are the results for the national final selection.

The final selection was held on the 2nd, and Masataka Morizono came in first place for men’s and Miyu Kato for ladies, each grasping the last ones of the five seats for the national team members.

With this, all 10 members of the national team has been fixed as Tomokazu Harimoto、Koki Niwa、Jun Mizutani、Kazuhiro Yoshimura、Masataka Morizono for men’s, and Kasumi Ishikawa、Mima Ito、Miu Hirano、Hitomi Sato、Miyu Kato for ladies.

On the 3rd, a tournament was held between each five members on the national team.
Tomokazu Harimoto won against Jun Mizutani in finals as well as the title for his first time, and Kasumi Ishikawa won against Mima Ito and won her second title after four years since her first.
