On August 29, the men’s game of the Nojima T League has started at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi in Tokyo, followed by the women’s game on 30th at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. Members from both men and women teams were changed from the previous season and the overall level seems to have been raised.

In the Victory Match, there were fierce competitions in both men’s and women’s opening game, indicating a strong competition among the teams. High level games are also expected in this season.

In the opening game on the 29th, seen by more than 2,000 spectators, the champion of the last season, KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO played against Rivets last season’s 2nd placer OKAYAMA.

KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO, the king who supported HARIMOTO Tomokazu, was in a difficult situation as HARIMOTO lost 2 matches including doubles with NIWA Koki. However, MIZUTANI Jun who is the mainstay of the team, saved the day by securing 2 matches including the Victory Match. Finally, KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO was Kicked off at 3-2 victory against OKAYAMA Rivets.

On the following day, there was a match between two diversified teams. Last season’s 3rd place finisher, T.T. Saitama, and the 4th place finisher, RYUKYU ASTEEDA who wants to strike back, are competing against each other.

Foreign player PITCHFORD Liam, who belongs to T.T Saitama, got his first victory in his debut match in the T League. Meanwhile, RYUKYU ASTEEDA’s promising chopper MURAMATSU Yuto and a veteran chopper JOO Saehyuk made the game a highlight. The result was 3-1, and T.T. Saitama won their first victory of the season.

In the 1st game on the 31st, OKAYAMA Rivets played against T.T Saitama. YOSHIDA Masaki (OKAYAMA Rivets) got the worthful success in the Victory Match in additional to his win over PITCHFORD Liam. Thanks to YOSHIDA’s outstanding performance, OKAYAMA Rivets recorded 1 win and 1 lose same as T.T. Saitama.

In the following 2nd game on the 31st, KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO and RYUKYU ASTEEDA faced each other. HOU Yingchao, the singles champion of the All-China Championship, overcame the veteran showdown with CHUANG Chih-Yuan. However, JOO Saehyuk beat MIZUTANI Jun, who leads KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO.

In the 4th match, NIWA Koki defeated CHEN Chien-An (RYUKYU ASTEEDA), and KINOSHITA MEISTER TOKYO made a good start with 2 wins in 2 matches. RYUKYU ASTEEDA, on the other hand, lost 2 games and failed to catch up.

The women’s opening game was also held on the 30th, and the winner of the last season, NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF, and the runner-up of the last season, KINOSHITA Abyell KANAGAWA faced each other. ISHIKAWA Kasumi got 2 victories, including defeating HAYATA Hina (NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF) in the Victory Match, and achieved sweet revenge against championship team from the first game.

KINOSHITA Abyell KANAGAWA, who had a good starting dash in the first game, played against TOP NAGOYA on the 31st in a row. ISHIKAWA, who was in good condition, won again in the singles and KINOSHITA Abyell KANAGAWA leaded TOP NAGOYA by 2-1. In the following 4th match, HAMAMOTO Yui defeated YANG Haeun and finished the game.

The 2nd game on the 31st became the OSAKA Derby of NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF versus NIPPON PAINT Mallets. In the singles Victory Match, HAYATA Hina defeated KATO Miyu who is the captain of NIPPON PAINT Mallets, and as a result, OSAKA Derby was awarded the NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF.

On September 1st, NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF played their 3rd game against the TOP NAGOYA. Surprisingly, TOP NAGOYA’s MORITA Ayane showed 2 amazing upsets winning HAYATA Hina and JEON Jihee. Due to the MORITA’s fantastic performance, TOP NAGOYA won against NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF by 3-2. In the total, NIHON SEIMEI Red ELF recorded 1 win and 2 lose, while TOP NAGOYA recorded 1 win and 1 lose.

In the 2nd game on 1st, KINOSHITA Abyell KANAGAWA played against NIPPON PAINT Mallets. Although ISHIKAWA Kasumi was absent from the game, DOO Hoi Kem won 2 matches and leaded team to the close victory by 3-2.

KINOSHITA Abyell KANAGAWA kicked off to a good start with 3 wins in the 3 games, while NIPPON PAINT Mallets has already started to lag by 2 lose in 2 games.
